Number of pole pairs of three-phase asynchronous motor:

1 pair of magnetic poles (2 magnetic poles): synchronous speed is 3000 rpm, asynchronous speed is about 2880 rpm.
2 pairs of magnetic poles (4 magnetic poles): synchronous speed is 1500 rpm, asynchronous speed is about 1450 rpm.
3 pairs of magnetic poles (6 magnetic poles): synchronous speed is 1000 rpm, asynchronous speed is about 960 rpm.
4 pairs of magnetic poles (8 magnetic poles): synchronous speed 750 rpm, asynchronous speed 730 rpm.

For motors with the same power and different pole numbers:

The more magnetic pole pairs, the lower the speed and the larger the volume, but the output torque is larger.
The smaller the number of magnetic pole pairs, the higher the speed and the smaller the volume, but the output torque is also smaller.
